These pieces are begun when you order, which is what makes a custom color or a particular size possible, and it is why they take 1 to 2 weeks rather than shipping the same week. If you want something in a color you cannot see on the site, message the studio first: most crochet designs can be worked in a different yarn shade, and you will be told honestly what is available.

Why does made to order take longer?
Because the piece does not exist until you order it. A throw takes days of hooking, a wreath is felted ball by ball. Allow 1 to 2 weeks for making, plus delivery.
Can I choose a custom color?
Usually yes, on crochet pieces. Message the studio with the piece and the shade you want before ordering, and you will get an answer on availability and timing.
